MMDA lifts number coding on Holy Week, Araw ng Kagitingan
The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Friday that the number coding would be lifted during the Holy Week.
The MMDA, in an advisory, said the number coding scheme would be suspended from Holy Wednesday to Good Friday (April 1 to 3), Easter Monday (April 6) and on the annual celebration of the Araw ng Kagitingin or Day of Valor (April 9).
Major roads in Metro Manila usually experience heavy traffic on days leading to and after the Holy Week due to exodus of residents to the provinces. ID
