4 armed men rob QC firm

Armed robbers robbed a recruitment firm of P1.3 million in payroll money and other valuables early Friday morning in Quezon City.

The Job On Link firm at the Uni Building on Edsa corner Arayat Street in Cubao had just opened for the day when four men entered the office, including one who pretended to be a job applicant.

Case investigator PO3 Roland Belgica of the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit said the only employees at the time were accounting officer Anave Arcala and liaison officer Romualdo Villagonzalo.

Arcala said the suspects took P1.3 million in cash, meant to be payroll money, and Arcala’s personal belongings, including P3,000 in cash, a laptop and a camera.
