MANILA, Philippines—Operations of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) lines 1 and 2 will be suspended during the Holy Week to give way to its annual maintenance work.
In its advisories on Twitter, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) said that the LRT lines would have no operations from Maundy Thursday (April 2) to Easter Sunday (April 5).
LRTA said the last trains from the Baclaran terminal and Roosevelt station of the line 1 and from Santolan station of the line 2 would depart at 8 p.m. on Holy Wednesday (April 1). The last train from line 2’s Recto station would depart at 8:30 p.m.
Normal operations, it said, would resume on April 6.
