4 hurt as car overturns in Pasay

MANILA, Philippines — Four persons were hurt after their car overturned in Pasay City Friday morning, said the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.

Although the exact time of the accident is not clear, Station Operations Officer 1 Alvin Pescador said that they received a call about a Mitsubishi Galant (TTK-661) which had overturned near the Mariott Hotel and Circulo del Mundo Rotunda at around 5:26 a.m.

He said that they received a report from a traffic enforcer stationed in the area at around 6:09 a.m., confirming the accident and informing them that four persons had been hurt.

“Tumihaya yung Mitsubishi Galant [The Mitsubishi Galant overturned]” was how the report described the accident, said Pescador.

He said that three of those injured were rushed to the Makati Medical Center while another person was treated on the site for “minor injuries.”
