The quake was felt at Intensity 1 in Legazpi City, Albay, and Mulanay, Quezon province; Intensity 2 in Pilar, Sorsogon, and Daet, Camarines Norte, and Intensity 3 in Iriga City, Camarines Sur.

Laguerta said an earthquake of Magnitude 4.2 was considered a “small quake” that could be felt by people but not expected to cause damage.
