The three-way rumble that erupted around 10 p.m. Wednesday forced authorities to stop the train at Cubao station for about seven minutes, Bandera editor-in-chief Dona Policar said.

The brawl began after one of the women bumped the other female passenger, who in turn grabbed her by the hair, Policar told INQUIRER.net.

“Then the two women, including a minor hit the third woman, a call center agent,” she said.

Soon she, too, joined the melee.

The three, who refused to alight, were accosted by security guards to let the interrupted MRT trip to proceed.

“After almost an hour of arguing at the guard’s station, the three decided to settle amicably,” Policar said. “The two women apologized.”

“The third woman, the call center agent, refused to apologize, insisting that she was the aggrieved party.”
