Face the courts, Enzo Pastor’s mother appeals to Dahlia Guerrero

MANILA, Philippines— “She has to surface and face justice in the courts. She cannot be a fugitive for life.”

This was the message of Remy Pastor to her daughter-in-law Dahlia Guerrero-Pastor, who has been accused of parricide for allegedly conspiring to kill her husband, international race-car driver, Ferdinand “Enzo” Pastor.

“She has been given a lot of chances to appear but she denied herself for proper jurisdiction,” the mother of Pastor told reporters on Tuesday at a forum held in the Lyceum of the Philippines University in Manila.

“We’re happy now that the DOJ has given their resolution with the complete information that there’s probable cause identifying Dahlia Guerrero and Sandy de Guzman,” she said.

On February 27, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has found probable cause to indict Dahlia for allegedly masterminding his ambush in Quezon City in 2014 in conspiracy with her reported lover, businessman Domingo “Sandy” de Guzman III.
“I still believe in our justice system here in the Philippines and with our authorities,” Pastor said.

Asked about the case progress in the court, she said, “It has been running along well.”

The Pastor children, both boys aged six and nine, are in the custody of Guerrero’s parents.

Both sides are currently fighting for their custody.
