SINGAPORE – Six male suspects aged between 13 and 23 have been arrested for their alleged involvement in a spate of motor vehicle thefts.
The cases were reported in Jurong West and Ang Mo Kio between February 13-20.
Officers from the Jurong and Clementi Police Division recovered two of the vehicles at Tah Ching Road on Wednesday, and after follow-up investigations, arrested the six suspects at 9: 30p.m. that day.
They will be charged in court with theft of motor vehicles with common intention on Friday. If convicted, each faces a maximum jail term of seven years and a fine.
