LIVESTREAM: 29th Edsa People Power Anniversary

MANILA, Philippines — As the nation commemorates the uprising that overthrew the Marcos dictatorship 29 years ago, various celebrations will be held in the country on Wednesday.

President Benigno Aquino III will lead the wreath-laying ceremony at the Edsa People Power Monument while Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle will officiate a mass at the Edsa Shrine Chapel.

The said events aim to recall and commemorate the unity of the Filipino people and the restoration of democracy in the country in 1986. KS
