Today, Feb. 17, is the 29th death anniversary of National Scientist Francisco Fronda. Born on Dec. 22, 1896, he was known as the “Father of the Poultry Industry in the Philippines.” He was conferred the National Scientist Award in 1983 and died three years later at the age of 89.
