Light to moderate rains expected over Eastern Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines — A trough of a low pressure area is affecting Eastern Mindanao and will bring light to moderate rains there, the state weather bureau said Monday afternoon.

“The regions of Caraga and Davao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms,” the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over the rest of Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough, Pagasa said.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.
