Napeñas breaks down while narrating Mamasapano encounter

MANILA, Philippines — Relieved Special  Action Force Director Getulio Napeñas broke down while narrating during a public hearing in the Senate the bloody Mamasapano encounter  last January 25.

Napenas’ voice cracked several times while he was reading  his opening statement before the Senate committees on  public order, peace, unification, and reconciliation, and finance.

“Mission accomplished,  only that it happened at a high price…” he  said, referring to the death of 44 SAF men  who perished in the  operation.
