MANILA, Philippines — Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin “Jun-Jun” Binay has arrived at the Senate building in Pasay City and has been placed under the custody of the chamber on Thursday morning.
The convoy carrying Binay arrived a few minutes after the Senate blue ribbon subcommittee started its hearing on alleged anomalies in Makati City.
His sister, Makati Representative Abigail Binay, arrived at the Senate ahead of him to give support.
