3 minors nabbed in QC mall for selling illegal drugs
MANILA, Philippines—Three minors who were caught selling illegal drugs in a Quezon City mall were arrested by anti-narcotics agents last week, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said on Tuesday.
Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac Jr., PDEA director general, said three teenagers were caught selling shabu (metamphetamine hydrochloride) in a buy-bust operation at SM North Annex.
Cacdac said the suspects, aged 17, 16 and 14, were living in a same residence on Tandang Sora Road in Barangay (village) Culiat, Quezon City.
PDEA agents seized three pieces of plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 200 grams.
The suspects are under the custody of PDEA pending the resolution and discernment from the court for their turnover to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
