CBM to bring business sector to next level

BRINGING Cebu’s business industry to the next level is this year’s theme for the Cebu Business Month (CBM) celebration in June.

CBM is an annual business event of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI).

During an 888 News Forum yesterday at the Marco Polo Hotel, CBM Chairman Virgilio Nonoy Espeleta said that this year’s theme “Cebu Beyond Boundaries” acknowledges the need to expand and professionalize small businesses.

“We want everyone in the business to look beyond today. We are looking at the future and the momentum we have created now in Cebu,” Espeleta said.

CBM 2011 is all about encouraging businesses to move to the next level.

He said that as the business enterprises grow in Cebu there is also that growing desire to reach the highest potential for the province’s economy.

With this, CBM has lined up month-long activities.

CBM highlights include the Tourism Congress, the 1st Cebu Creative Industries Summit, Go Negosyo Seminar, and a local job fair.
