Classes from kinder to high school remain suspended in parts of Metro, some provinces

MANILA, Philippines—Wednesday classes in public and private kindergarten, elementary and high schools in Malabon, Navotas and Marikina City have been suspended by the Department of Education.

According to a DepEd announcement, class will also remain suspended in the following villages in Valenzuela City: Wawangpolo, Poblacion, Arkong Bato, Rincon, MabaloPolo, Pasolo, Coloong, Balangkas, Malanday, Tagalag, Isla and Bisig.

DepEd also gave school officials the discretion to suspend classes depending on the situation in their locations.

In Region 2, class suspensions will continue only in Nueva Vizcaya and low-lying areas near the Cagayan and Magat rivers.

In Region 3, classes remain suspended in Bulacan and also in all public elementary and high schools in San Mateo, Antipolo City, Rodriguez and Cainta, all in Rizal.
