SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Someone is just hours away from losing the biggest lotto prize in Puerto Rico’s history.
The person who bought the winning $32 million (P1.4 billion) lotto ticket has until the end of Wednesday to claim the money.
The ticket was sold at a San Juan grocery store last June, but no one has stepped forward with the ticket.
The winner could choose between receiving $1.28 million a year for 20 years or a lump sum payment of $11.5 million.
The latter will go toward government coffers if a winner does not come forward.
