MANILA, Philippines – Most parts of the country will experience rains on Saturday due to three weather systems, the state weather bureau said.
A low pressure area 660 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur will bring rains to parts of Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
A diffused tail-end of a cold front is affecting Bicol region while the northeast monsoon is affecting Northern and Central Luzon.
“Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao region, Norrthern Mindanao and the province of Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms,” Pagasa said.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Ilocos Region and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over the whole archipelago with moderate to rough seas.
