‘Ruby’ to slam into Laiya, Batangas Monday night

MANILA, Philippines – Tropical Storm “Ruby” would make landfall in Laiya, Batangas early Monday evening, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

In its weather update, Pagasa said Ruby is expected to slam into Laiya between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The storm would skirt Manila Bay and will make the area hazardous. Manila authorities were advised to make necessary precautionary measures.
