MANILA, Philippines – The rainfall warning in Metro Manila has been downgraded from orange to yellow, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Monday afternoon.

This means that “flooding is possible and landslides in mountainous areas,” Pagasa added.

Yellow rainfall alert was also hoisted in Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija.

Orange rainfall alert was raised in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon), “where flooding is threatening in low lying areas and landslides in mountainous areas,” Pagasa said.
