MANILA, Philippines—A 6.4-magnitude quake jolted Sultan Kudarat on Tuesday afternoon.
The tremor was recorded 112 kilometers southwest of Kalamansig at 1:11p.m., the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The tectonic quake’s epicenter was 619 kilometers.
Intensity II was recorded in Bislig City.
Aftershocks were expected from the quake.
