Metro Manila to experience rains as cold front lingers

MANILA, Philippines—The National Capital Region is expected to experience rains on Thursday as the tail-end of a cold front lingers over Central and Southern Luzon while cold winds blow over the extreme northern parts of Luzon, the weather bureau said.

In its weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Metro Manila, Bicol Region, Calabarzon, and the provinces of Aurora, Quirino, Isabela, Mindoro and Palawan would have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Pagasa added that Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos Region would experience cloudy skies with light rains.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
