Senate tackles general principles of proposed 2015 national budget
MANILA, Philippines — The Senate began holding morning sessions on Wednesday to tackle the proposed P2.606-trillion national budget for 2015.
First on the list for plenary deliberations in the morning were the general principles of the proposed budget bill with members of the Development Budget Coordinating Committee (DBCC).
Among those present during the budget hearing were Budget Secretary Florencio Abad, Revenue Commissioner Kim Henares and Economic Planning Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan.
In the afternoon, the Senate is set to discuss the proposed budget of the Department of Education.
