LRT operations disrupted

MANILA, Philippines—The Light Rail Transit (LRT-1) had partial operations after one of its stations experienced a signaling problem Friday afternoon.

LRT Authority spokesman Hernando Cabrera in an advisory said the train’s Roosevelt station experienced a signaling problem at 3:15 p.m.

Cabrera said LRT implemented a “degraded operations”, saying train operations were only up to the Monumento station in Caloocan City.

Full operations were back at 3:57 p.m.

The LRT-1, the oldest line in the light railway system in metropolis, connects Baclaran station in Pasay City to Roosevelt in Quezon City.
