Expect the cold on Thursday, says Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines—Expect the cold on Thursday as two weather systems bringing chilly weather are affecting large areas of the country, the weather bureau said.
In its early-morning bulletin on Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the tail-end of a cold front is affecting Eastern Visayas while the northeast monsoon (amihan) is affecting northern and central Luzon.
Pagasa said Eastern Visayas will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos Region will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rains while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and the Visayas where the coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
