Northeast monsoon brings cool weather to Luzon–Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines—Expect cool weather to prevail in Luzon, with the northeast monsoon affecting the island’s northern and central parts, the weather bureau said on Tuesday.
In its early-morning bulletin Tuesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that besides the cool weather, isolated rainshowers may fall over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Cagayan Valley Cordillera and the Ilocos Region.
Pagasa added that the rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds from the northeast would blow over Luzon with the coastal waters moderately to occasionally rough.
