MANILA, Philippines—After three rounds of negotiations, the debate between Vice President Jejomar Binay and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV will happen on November 27, Thursday, a radio report said.
Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) president Herman Basbaño was quoted in the report as saying that the two camps have both agreed on the date.
Basbaño, however, refused to divulge the mechanics and the venue of the debate.
Binay challenged Trillanes to a debate in an effort to clear his name on allegations of graft and corruption.
All media networks are invited to cover the debate and an “impartial” moderator will be provided by the KBP.
