‘Paeng’ leaves PH
MANILA, Philippines–Typhoon “Paeng,” in all its intensity, has left the Philippine Area of Responsibility Tuesday morning.
According to the final bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration issued at 11 a.m., “Paeng” was last spotted at 1,373 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes at 10 a.m.
“Paeng” made its exit with a slight decrease in strength as it packed maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of 220 kph.
In Pagasa’s 5 a.m. weather forecast, “Paeng” packed maximum sustained winds of 195 kph near the center and gusts of 230 kph.
“Paeng” tracks a north northeast path at a pace of 19 kph.
