MANILA, Philippines- Several roads leading to the Manila North Cemetery will be closed to traffic starting 4 a.m. on Nov. 1.
The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) in an advisory told the public of a traffic rerouting in Manila starting All Saints’ Day this Saturday.
The roads closed to traffic include:
Aurora Boulevard from Dimming to Rizal Avenue
Bluementritt Road from A. Bonifacio to P. Guevarra Street
Dimasalang Road from Makiling Street to Blumentritt Road
Retiro Street from Dimasalang Road to Bluementritt Extension
P. Guevarra Street from Cavite Street to Pampanga Street, and Leonor Rivera Street from Cavite Street to Pampanga Street.
MMDA said motorists can park their vehicles along the following streets:
Craig Street
Simon Street
Felix Huertas Street
Sulu Street
Oroquieta Street
P. Guevarra Street
Bulacan Street
Tecson Street
Sulu Street
M. Hizon Street
Kalimbas Street
Natividad Street
Metrica Street
The MMDA, meanwhile, warned motorists that vehicles who will park along the following streets will be towed:
Retiro Street
Laong-Laan Street
Pampanga Street
Rizal Avenue
Jose Abad Santos Street
Aurora Street
Millions of Filipinos are expected to flock to the cemetery this weekend to pay tribute to their departed loved ones.
