MANILA, Philippines – Rains would fall over Visayas as converging winds from the northeast and southeast linger over the area, the weather bureau said.

In its weather forecast on Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the intertropical convergence zone would bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
