Light rain, cloudy skies in store for entire archipelago
MANILA, Philippines–Cloudy skies will bring light to moderate rain showers to many parts of the Visayas and Mindanao while the rest of the country will have isolated rain showers, the weather bureau said yesterday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the northeast monsoon winds would affect Luzon, making coastal waters moderate to rough.
It forecast cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms for the regions of Caraga and Western Visayas, as well as the provinces of Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, Siquijor, Negros Oriental and Palawan.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Ilocos and Central Luzon, meanwhile, will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated light rains.
The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, Pagasa said.
