Names of successful October CPA licensure examinees released

MANILA, Philippines–The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) early Thursday announced that 4,123 out of 11,137 examinees passed the Certified Public Accountant licensure examination given by the board of accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena this month.

The results were released in three working days after the last day of examination.

The CRC said registration for the issuance of professional identification card (ID) and certificate of registration will be on Oct. 27, 28, 29 and 30.

It said those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), one passport-size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), two sets of metered documentary stamps and one short brown envelope with name and profession. They are also required to pay the initial registration fee of P600 and annual registration fee of P450 for 2014-2017.

Successful examinees were also required to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees will be announced later, the CRC said.
