Magnitude 4.2 quake jolts Occidental Mindoro

occidental mindoro mapMANILA, Philippines—A magnitude 4.2 earthquake rocked Occidental Mindoro Wednesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

The earthquake occurred at around 8:05 a.m. and the epicenter was detected at 25 kilometers southwest of Looc, Occidental Mindoro.

Intensity III was reportedly felt at Lubang, Occidental Mindoro.

Phivolcs said that it is not expecting aftershocks.
