3 victims of summary execution found in Cagayan de Oro City
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines – Three victims of what police described as summary executions were recovered in two separate locations here Tuesday.
None of the victims had been identified as of yet, Senior Supt. Faro Antonio Olaguera, the city police director, said.
Olaguera said all of the bodies had one thing in common: these were placed inside sacks and all of the victims had gunshot wounds.
“We are looking at the connections,” he said.
Olaguera said one of the dead was recovered in Barangay Nazareth, just outside the gates of the Cagayan De Oro City High School.
The two other bodies were recovered in Sitio Kabula in Barangay Lumbia.
