Passenger bus robbed in Quezon City

quezon city mapMANILA, Philippines — Two armed men robbed a passenger bus while passing through East Avenue in Quezon City on Tuesday morning, a radio report said.

The report said the robbers fired several warning shots inside the Taguig Metro Link bus before divesting passengers of their belongings, including mobile phones and cash.

After taking the victims’ valuables, the robbers immediately got off the bus and ‎fled with their loot, the report said.

An artist sketch of the perpetrators was made based on the witnesses’ description.
