Pagasa: Possible thunderstorm in Metro Manila Wednesday
MANILA, Philippines–The weather bureau warned of possible thunderstorm in National Capital Region (NCR) on Wednesday.
“Thunderstorm is more likely to develop over NCR within the next 12 hours. All are advised to monitor for updates,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in a Thunderstorm Watch advisory at 10a.m.
The morning weather bulletin for Wednesday said that Metro Manila will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
On Tuesday, heavy rains and floods caused by a thunderstorm in parts of Metro Manila snarled traffic.
Typhoon “Ompong” (international name: Vongfong), which hovers over the northern part of the Philippines, is forecast not to have a direct effect to the country.
