MANILA, Philippines — Two officials of Hilmarc’s Construction Corporation are facing contempt citation for repeatedly snubbing the ongoing Senate investigation on the controversial Makati City Hall 2 parking building.

During the resumption of the blue ribbon sub-committee hearing on Wednesday, Senator Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes moved to recommend to the main blue ribbon committee that all board members of Hilmarc’s  be cited for contempt.

But Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, who heads the subcommittee, revised Trillanes’ motion and recommended that only Engineers Efren Canlas and Robert Henson, chairman and president of Hilmarc’s, respectively, should be cited for contempt.
