Heavy rains pelt Metro Manila
MANILA, Philippines – Heavy rains drenched Metro Manila Monday night as a thunderstorm developed over the National Capital Region, the weather bureau said.
In its thunderstorm bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that Metro Manila (Makati, Mandaluyong, Manila, Pasig, Pateros, San Juan, Taguig, Quezon City), Bulacan (Calumpit, Dona R. Trinidad, Malolos, San Ildefonso, San Rafael), Pampanga (Lubao, Minalin, Sasmuan, Sulipan) Pampanga (Binangonan, Cardona, Morong, Tanay), Laguna (Cabuyao, Calamba, Santa Rosa), Nueva Ecija (Bongabon, Gabaldon, Gen. M. Natividad, Lau, Llanera, Palayan City, Rizal, Sto. Domingo, Talavera) and Zambales (Olongapo City, San Antonio) would experience strong winds and heavy rains in a span of two hours.
Pagasa added that the thunderstorm would spread to other parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Nueva Ecija, Laguna and Pampanga in the next two hours.
