Police nab Lucena drug pusher, seize P1.4-M shabu

LUCENA CITY, Quezon, Philippines—Police operatives arrested a suspected big-time drug pusher here on Thursday morning and seized an estimated P1.4 million worth of shabu (metamphetamine hydrochloride) from her.

Supt. Allen Ray Co, Lucena police chief, said the suspect, Vivian Ayala, 48, was nabbed in a buy-bust operation in her safehouse in Barangay Ibabang Dupay at 8:20 a.m.

The lawmen confiscated a plastic pack of suspected shabu weighing 120 grams with an estimated street price of P1,416,000, a digital weighing scale and illegal drug paraphernalia.

Ayala is now detained at the Lucena City jail.
