MANILA, Philippines – A thunderstorm hit Metro Manila and neighboring areas Thursday, the weather bureau said.
In its advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that the thunderstorm struck at 12:25 p.m. and drenched areas of Bulacan, Laguna, Bataan, Nueva Ecija and Metro Manila with its accompanying rains.
Pagasa added that the thunderstorm may continue for a couple of hours and could spread to Cavite, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon in the next two hours.
