CSC: Purisima real properties in SALN mostly general in nature
MANILA, Philippines–The Civil Service Commission (CSC) said it had examined Philippine National Police Director General Alan Purisima’s statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN).
CSC Chair Francisco Duque III on Tuesday said the portions of the SALN indicating the real properties were mostly general in nature.
“Some of the real properties did not indicate the full address. It could have been more specific, more detailed,” Duque said in a phone interview.
The CSC receives the SALN of government employees for safekeeping and for counterchecking.
Meanwhile, Philippine National Police spokesman Chief Supt. Reuben Theodore Sindac said the PNP was “re-energizing” the honesty teams of plainclothes detectives that go after rogue cops and policemen suspected of illegal activities such as bribery and extortion.
