MANILA, Philippines–Classes in all levels in the University of Santo Tomas in Manila were suspended Friday, the school announced.
Although España street fronting UST was not flooded, UST Director for Public Affairs Giovanna V. Fontanilla said when interviewed over the radio that the school administration decided to suspend classes since many of its students were coming from other cities that were flooded due to the southwest monsoon and Tropical Storm “Mario.”
Meanwhile, the Taguig local government announced that classes in all levels in the city were suspended Friday.
