MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said 3,058 applicants passed the December 2024 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Exam (CPALE).
A total of 10,361 aspirants took the tests held nationwide on December 6, 7, and 8. This CPALE was originally set for October, but it was rescheduled due to Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami).
The top examinee of the December 2024 CPALE was Jianne Iysse Yu of the University of San Carlos, who obtained a score of 89.67. She was followed by Julianne Nicole Vitug of the University of the Philippines Diliman for achieving 89.50 points.

The batch’s Top 3 was Joebin Lopez of Saint Paul School of Professional Studies, garnering a score of 89.33.
University of the Philippines Diliman was named the top-performing school for the December 2024 CPALE for having a passing rate of 98.04 percent. It was trailed by De La Salle University-Manila with an 80.53-percent passing rate.
According to the PRC, the University of the Philippines Diliman and De La Salle University-Manila had at least 50 examinees and a minimum passing percentage of 80 percent.
