One hurt as car hits school bus in QC
MANILA, Philippines — One person was injured when a car hit a school bus in Quezon City early morning on Friday, authorities said.
Quezon City Traffic Sector 4 field investigator Allan Mangoma said the car sideswiped the school bus along Timog Avenue sometime between 5:20 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.
He said the driver of the car injured his leg and was treated by responding medics.
Mangoma said the driver of the school bus, which was travelling in the opposite lane when it was hit by the car, was unhurt.
He added that the bus had not picked up students at the time of the accident.
