MANILA, Philippines—Rains would fall over the National Capital Region as a monsoon trough lingers over the area and other neighboring provinces, the weather bureau said Wednesday.
In its weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Metro Manila, Cordillera, Ilocos, Central Luzon, Calabarzon and the province of Mindoro will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Pagasa added that the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms which may fall in the afternoon or in the evening.
