Thunderstorm warning up in Metro Manila, nearby areas

MANILA, Philippines – A thunderstorm has developed over the National Capital Region and neighboring provinces, the weather bureau said Monday.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 3:18 pm, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that thunderstorms would affect portions of Quezon (Candelaria, Dolores, Lucban, San Antonio, Tiaong) Metro Manila (Las Piñas, Muntinlupa), Cavite (Dasmariñas) and Batangas (Padre Garcia, Rosario, Taysan) which may persist for more than two hours.

Pagasa added that the thunderstorm might develop over other parts of Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas and Quezon in the next two hours.
