MANILA, Philippines – A bomb scare hit Arellano University Main Campus in Manila Thursday morning, prompting the suspension of classes and work in the university.
A television report said that the police received a report of the threat at around 10:30 a.m.
The threat was later ruled as a false alarm and area was cleared by 11:48 a.m.
A university security staff told Inquirer.net that students and staff have already been sent home.
Various universities have been targeted by bomb threats recently as Southville International Colleges in Las Piñas City and UP Baguio were hit with bomb scares last week.
