Two LPAs to drench PH in rain

MANILA, Philippines—The country can expect a rainy Thursday as two low pressure areas linger inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the weather bureau said.

In its weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said one of the LPAs was at the vicinity of Casiguran, Aurora while the other one was at 770 kilometers east of Virac Catanduanes.

Both were last spotted at 4 a.m.

Pagasa added that Luzon, Visayas, the regions of Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and Caraga would have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Other parts of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
