LPA lingers, to bring rains Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines—Rains are expected to drench Metro Manila and central Philippines as a low pressure area (LPA) lingers over the eastern seas 590 kilometers east of Daet, Camarines Norte.

In its weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that Metro Manila, Mimaropa, Bicol, Calabarzon, Central Luzon and Visayas would have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Pagasa added that the rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
