Southville Int’l School suspends classes due to bomb scare

MANILA, Philippines–Students of an international school in Las Piñas were asked to vacate the campus after a bomb threat reached the school on Monday morning.

A radio report said Southville International School and Colleges administration suspended its classes following the threat that was sent in a text message.

The radio report quoted Las Piñas police chief Romulo E. Sapitula who said that a school employee received five text messages stating that there was a bomb planted in the campus.

Police have responded to the scene and are currently searching the area for ‎any explosives.
